Tucker Stock Value?

Postby komposer » Wed Jul 06, 2005 11:02 pm

Can anyone tell me what value to place on my grandfathers
stock certificate?

It is for *FORTY* shares purchased at $1.00 each,
dated Oct 2, 1947.

It is the original certificate...not a copy or reproduction.
It is in excellent condition other than having been tri-folded,
probably to fit in an envelope.

I'll give $40 for it.

It's probably worth somewhere around $150. Put it on eBay and see where it goes.

Less than 100 shares should be green.

I just got some tucker stock certificates from my parents who had purchased them from a member of their church. They were in excellent condition, they were even still in the post marked envelope that they were mailed in. They also had some bankrupcy(sp) papers postmarked about 10 years later. I am having a custom frame made for them to hang in my office.
